How does our domain price compare with others in the market?

While there are several cheap domain registration providers in the market providing prices lower than us, beware that what is apparently low is not always so. There are several hidden things out there.

Best Domain Price means what?

Best domain price does not mean that the domain price should be the lowest. A domain comes with a set of features and facilities that should be made available to the customer. You are not just registering your domain name. You are also looking for a set of must required features in your control so that you can utilize your domain effectively to your advantage. So, merely price should not be your criteria for buying a domain. You must check what other features you get along with. There should not be any hidden costs. Many domain providers will provide you with just a basic domain registration. And then when you go about using your domain, you realize that you need a host of other features such as manage DNS, domain forwarding, email forwarding, privacy protection, etc. and when you turn back to your domain provider, they tell you that you have to pay extra for these features. Eventually, you end up paying a much higher price for your domain. Some domain providers even resort to un-ethical business practices. They will sell the domain at a very low price on condition that you buy a hosting plan along with it. Part of the domain price is built in the hosting price. Others resort to practices such as charge a very low price initially and then at the time of renewal (after 1 year) charge a very high price. They will even lock your domain, preventing you to transfer it out. So you are stuck with them and eventually would end up paying a high price. Some are even dirtier. They would be monitoring the popularity of your domain and if by chance you miss on the renewal date, as soon as your domain expires, they will hijack it for their own benefits.
